I would like to share my case that happened after I practiced Buddhism and recited Buddhist scriptures!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 2010, the year of my zodiac animal, I was diagnosed with myasthenia gravis (MG). This disease is known as undead cancer, and it happened to me, unfortunately. At that time, I was so grief-stricken that I could not accept this reality, which made me lose confidence in life from then on. My hair turned white overnight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
MG made me more susceptible to colds. A cold will lead to the nervous system becoming paralyzed, speech difficulties, unable to drink water, unable to swallow, whole body weakness, and life-threatening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is no medication for MG. It can only be maintained with hormones, at a very high dosage of 6 pills a day. I knew that hormones had great side effects and could lead to osteoporosis, but there was nothing I could do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Before I encountered Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door, I ran to temples to participate in Buddhist mass rituals. I ran to wherever I heard that the temple responded to prayers. Although I spent a lot of money I did not get well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Maybe it was my good fortune and blessings from my previous lives that gave me the opportunity to encounter Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door in 2015. One day, a man came to my store to buy something. When he saw that I didn’t even have the strength to hold anything, he told me that I would get well by reciting the Great Compassion Mantra<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The next day, he brought me a Buddhist scripture and a book of Buddhism in Plain Terms<\/em>. I read them in one breath that night into the wee hours of the morning and didn’t even want to go to bed. My family asked me, “Why don’t you go to bed?” I felt I just wanted to cry. While I read and cried, I replied, “I’m finally saved!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n I remember very clearly that from that day on, I started doing my daily recitation. Then, I started reciting Little Houses to pay off my debts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Since I didn’t have a Buddhist altar at home, I worshiped a picture of Guan Yin Bodhisattva. Later, I set up a small Buddhist altar at home. In front of the Buddhist altar, I made a big vow: I would be a life-long vegetarian, release 10,000 fish, and recite 1,500 Little Houses. In the first set I recited 108 Little Houses for my karmic creditors, then 21 sheets, set by set. I vowed that after I recovered, I would convince sentient beings to practice Buddhism using my experiences. I will always follow Guan Yin Bodhisattva to practice Buddhism and recite Buddhist scriptures, never stop, be one of the hands and eyes of Guan Yin Bodhisattva, and follow Master Lu to propagate the Dharma and help people with righteous beliefs and thoughts. After making my vows, I dreamed of a very tall golden Bodhisattva. I am grateful for Bodhisattva’s compassion and blessings!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Throughout the day, I perform Master Lu’s Four Great Dharma Gems – making vows, reciting Buddhist scriptures, releasing beings, and reciting Eighty-Eight Buddhas Great Repentance<\/em> to repent of wrongdoings and refrain from doing them. I listened to Master’s recordings every day and never missed them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n By 2016, I had practiced Buddhism for a year. I had the honor to go to Hong Kong to attend the Master’s Dharma Convention and formally acknowledge Jun Hong Lu as my master, becoming his disciple. Before the ceremony, I had a stomach problem. Master Lu enlightened me on the spot that I had spirits in my intestines and stomach and they requested 78 Little Houses. Master Lu blessed me at that time, patting my head, shoulders and both my knees. I felt hot all over my body.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After the ceremony was over, I walked to the bathroom and came out feeling better in my bowels. When I returned from the conference, I recited the Buddhist scriptures much faster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n During the year prior to the worshiping ceremony, I would not kneel down due to my knee problems, so I always stood to worship the Buddha rather than kneeling. After I returned from the conference, I dreamed that Master Lu had cut the flesh of my whole right knee open. I asked Master what to do with this cut flesh. Master Lu saw that there was tape on the side, so He turned it around and put it on. He fixed it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When I woke up the next morning, my feet were fine, no pain any more. I could kneel down and worship the Bodhisattva when I offered Buddha incense. I used to be unable to walk up the stairs on my feet, but Master Lu helped me heal it completely! I am grateful to compassionate Master Lu\u2019s Dharmakaya for entering my dreams to heal!<\/p>\n\n\n\n I have had the honor of dreaming of Master Lu blessing me a dozen times since the worshiping ceremony. As vowed, I recited 1,500 Little Houses and released 10,000 fish. I made another vow to release 100,000 fish. I continued to recite the Little Houses set by set, and I continued to practice Buddhism every day without slacking off! Over the past 7 years, I have recited >8,000 Little Houses. One day Master Lu told me in a dream that my karmic creditors had received 6,400 Little Houses. This indicated that the quality of my Buddhist scripture recitation was not bad and that I would continue to practice hard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As the Little Houses were paid to my karmic creditors set by set, my MG got better unknowingly! Hands and legs are now strong. I couldn’t speak clearly, but now I can. The only thing is that the eyelid of one of my eyes is still hard to lift, but I’m already satisfied with what I have achieved! When I think about how I felt when I was first diagnosed with MG, I wanted to die. Now I am full of confidence that as long as I continue to recite Buddhist scriptures, release lives, and repent of wrongdoings, I will definitely get stronger and better!<\/p>\n\n\n\n I am grateful to the Greatly Merciful and Greatly Compassionate Guan Yin Bodhisattva, to the compassionate Master Lu, and to the Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door for creating a medical miracle, saving my life and my spiritual life, and giving me renewed life!<\/p>\n\n\n\n I aspire to learn from Master Lu, so I have been persistent in transforming sentient beings. As well, I have donated money to print Buddhist scriptures and Buddhism in Plain Terms<\/em> for my fellow practitioners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I vow that in the future I will transform all sentient beings, accumulate merits and virtues, promote Dharma, and repay the Buddha’s kindness!<\/p>\n\n\n\n I hope that my sharing will help more sentient beings to pick up the Buddhist scriptures and learn to recite the Buddhist scriptures, be free from suffering and gain happiness!
