Dear Buddhist practitioners. I hope my sharing can form positive connections with all beings. I, not my fellow practitioners, will be responsible for my own karma! Good evening! I am Ying Li from Rizhao, Shandong Province, China.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am grateful to the group administrator for giving me this opportunity to share my Buddhist experience. I am also grateful to all volunteers for their dedicated work. To be one of the hands and eyes of Guan Yin Bodhisattva in extensively transforming sentient beings, I will convince sentient beings to practice Buddhism using my experiences. May Guan Yin Bodhisattva bless me and help me turn my propagation into merits and virtues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have very serious allergic bronchial asthma (ABA). I have wheezed very badly since I was a child. When I am sick, I can’t move around, and I can’t catch my breath. My lips are purple, and I even have shit in my pants, which is painful! I have suffered from ABA for 43 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I came into contact with Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door in 2012 through my good friend, Buddhist practitioner Sun. Sun offered me a book by Master Lu and a CD-ROM of Master Lu’s reading totems. Sun said that Master Lu has a Dharma eye and reads totems and diagnoses illnesses. It was amazing! At that time, I thought, “Is there anything in the world that is so magical?” After Sun left, I couldn’t wait to put the CD-ROM on my computer and watch the video. The video of Master Lu interpreting totems was really amazing! I didn’t even eat at noon that day, and I watched it until the evening. I thought it would be great if Master Lu could read my totem so that I could breathe smoothly. That would be great! At that time, I made up my mind that I would also recite Buddhist scriptures to ascend my karmic creditors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A few days later, Sun introduced me to a senior practitioner who lives in the same community where I reside. The senior practitioner taught me how to practice the three golden Buddhist practices. He taught me how to pray, recite Buddhist scriptures, make a vow, and release living creatures. On the first day, I started reciting Buddhist scriptures, my daily recitation was set at >21 times\/day. I wanted to recite more, so I could familiarize myself with Buddhist scriptures faster. I memorized the Heart Sutra<\/em>, Cundi Dharani<\/em>, Xiao Zai Ji Xiang Shen Zhou<\/em> and other short Buddhist scriptures very quickly. The G<\/em>reat Compassion Mantra<\/em> took me one month to memorize. I spent all my time reciting Buddhist scriptures every day except for eating and sleeping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After a week of reciting Buddhist scriptures, I wanted to set up a Buddhist altar at home. I inquired my husband\u2019s opinion, and he agreed readily. He thought that reciting Buddhist scriptures with him at home is better than doing nothing full of boring. So, I quickly ordered a large table and set up a Buddhist altar in a special room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n ABA is a disease that is considered an undead cancer, and those who suffer from it live in hell! When it attacked me in 2000, my husband took me to Jinan Provincial Hospital to see a doctor. At that time, the hospital could only check for 30 allergens. I was allergic to them all! The doctors were stunned. They said that I had >30 allergies and that it was the first time they had ever seen a patient with such a serious condition as mine. In those years, I had to take medication and injections every day, and I had to carry first-aid sprays with me when I stepped out. Once I was sick, luckily my home was close to the hospital. I got a doctor in my village to give me a shot of adrenal sebaceous hormone, and then called 120 for an emergency. It was already blue on my face, purple on my lips, and soft on my body. Gratitude for Buddha\u2019s compassion, pulling me back from death!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dear Buddhist practitioners, healthy people do not know how painful this disease is. Since the first day I met Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door, my daily recitation has not been interrupted for a day.<\/strong> I repaid my karmic creditors with many Little Houses, 21 sheets per set. To save time, I cooked one dish at a time for two meals. I even saved drinking water time for recitation.<\/strong> I could recite 12 Little Houses in a day. As a result, I feel that my breathing is becoming smoother over time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On March 18, 2013, I had the honor of becoming a disciple of Master Lu in Malaysia. When I paid my respects to Master Lu, He blessed me for a long, long time. The compassionate look in His eyes is still imprinted in my mind. At that time, I flew up to the sky and saw two very tall, armor-clad, sword-wielding Dharma protectors standing on either side of the South Heavenly Gate. The scene in the sky was so beautiful that I didn’t want to come down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After I came back from the worshiping ceremony, I made vows to be a vegetarian for the rest of my life, not to kill, not to eat live seafood, and to follow Master Lu forever, never to quit, attain enlightenment in one lifetime, and transcend the cycle of rebirth for good!<\/p>\n\n\n\n In May 2014, I had the honor of calling Master Lu. He read my totem and enlightened me about the numbers of Little Houses to recite and fish to release. He told me I was very kind. I was in tears: only the Master could know my heart. The recording was also played at the Hong Kong Dharma Convention in June 2014. I am grateful to Master Lu for his compassion and for giving me the opportunity to propagate the Dharma and conduct merits and virtues using my experience. After I hung up the phone, I cried and knelt down in front of the Buddhist altar to offer the Bodhisattva incense, vowing to release 100,000 fish, offering of 3,000 Dharma Gems to sentient beings free of charge, release 50,000 fish for Master Lu, recite 108 Little Houses per set for 3 sets for Master Lu. After I made these vows, Bodhisattva blessed me and allowed me to transform with several coworkers and friends because they witnessed me recover in health. Thus, they also want to learn Buddhism and recite Buddhist scriptures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Bodhisattva\u2019s compassion allowed me to make 5 phone calls within a month. The compassionate Master changed my son’s name over the phone. My son was born on June 19th of the Chinese lunar calendar, the day of the Bodhisattva’s enlightenment day. His affinity for Buddha is very deep. When he noticed a small insect in the house, he used a handkerchief to slowly pick it up and put it out of the window. My son knows how to recite the Heart Sutra<\/em> and some short Buddhist scriptures from memory. Gratitude for my Master’s compassionate teachings, which allowed me to solve all family problems by reciting Buddhist scriptures, making vows, and releasing lives. In the meantime, my Master also compassionately helped my brother’s daughter change her name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I am grateful to my Master for His compassion and help me find my way home. Since then, I have been even more determined that only by following Guan Yin Bodhisattva and Master Lu in this life can I be completely liberated. Now, I rarely catch a cold throughout the year. I have completely recovered from 43 years of asthma! I don’t even need a pill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the spring of 2018, a Buddhist practitioner asked me to recite Buddhist scriptures that my Master had not enlightened us to for recitation, but I did not. Since I listen to my Master’s recordings every day and have not personally heard Buddhist scripture my Master has designated us to recite. I decided not to recite them. For those who have not devoted themselves to one Buddhist practice, I have deleted their phone numbers and WeChat contacts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To find out whether it would be appropriate to disconnect from those miscellaneous practitioners, I specifically contacted Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door Secretariat, Australia Oriental Media. They said it was okay to delete them. This is because the aura of miscellaneous practitioners is not pleasant. The Secretariat asked me to send an email to them that night, which I did. The next morning around 4:30 am, I dreamed that my Master came to my home, walked to my Buddhist altar and pointed to the Bodhisattva on the altar. He enlightened me: \u201cYour family has more than just the Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door protectors. There are several other Bodhisattvas beside Guan Yin Bodhisattva who have come to your house.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n At that time, I saw that my Master was very tired. I helped Him rest on my couch and asked my elder sister to bring me a pillow. My elder sister brought me a backrest. I said, “How can I let my Master rest on a backrest? It’s too dirty.\u201d I said that we had a new pillow at home, so I fetched it, put it on the sofa, and asked my Master to lie down slowly. Putting his legs on the sofa, I slowly laid them down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Several times when I had problems, my Master appeared in my dreams. I know that if I concentrate well and follow my Master’s words carefully, nothing will be a problem! Once a teacher, always a father.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Over the years, I have repaid my karmic creditors with 3,000 – 4,000 Little Houses, released >40,000 fish, and transformed many sentient beings through my Buddhist experience. Gratitude for Bodhisattva\u2019s mercy, I am now in very good health. People can’t tell that I used to be so seriously ill. Certainly, I have had numerous efficacious experiences!<\/p>\n\n\n\n I remember one night in 2016, I flew into the sky in a dream. I saw two huge Dharma ships coming toward me. They\u2019re as big as a spaceship! I jumped into one of the big Dharma ships and pulled my fellow practitioner’s son into it as well. I have so many dreams like this. Dharma protectors will come to help you with any thoughts you have!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Since I regained my health, I stepped out to look for a job to earn some money to do merits and virtues. I also want to participate in my Master\u2019s Dharma Conventions. Two days ago, when I was cleaning, I held a counter for counting Buddhist scripture reciting numbers, and I dropped it on the floor. No number pops up when I press it. The Dharma Protector immediately reminded me that it would be fine if I threw it again. I immediately dropped it again. Gratitude for the Bodhisattva\u2019s compassion. I was able to press out the numbers! I am very grateful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Dear Buddhist practitioners, in the Age of Dharma Decline, we are fortunate to have come into contact with Guan Yin Bodhisattva\u2019s Citta Dharma Door. We must cherish this affinity with Buddha, cherish the blessings, and follow our Master to cultivate well. We must be faithful disciples of our Master to promote the Dharma!<\/p>\n\n\n\n In May, I traveled to Singapore to participate in the 10,000-person Dharma Convention. Before departure, a Buddhist practitioner planned to replace the current Buddhist altar with a large one of a 1.8-metera length. The practitioner asked me to help invite a large image of Dharma Protectors, as well as the Buddhist altar background paintings and the Great Compassion Mantra<\/em> that Master Lu has enlightened. Because I was doing volunteer work, I had no free time for the first few days of the convention. Until May 12th, the end day of the convention, I asked the volunteer leader whether I can take some time off to go to invite the Dharma Gems. The leader said that the first batch of volunteers are in charge at 8 o’clock, then arrange for me to be on the post at 10 o’clock. The leader reminded me that there would be a large number of people inviting Bodhisattva statues. Two hours are definitely not enough to get what you want. I said I would try to return at 10:00am sharp.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The time was 8:15am after I asked for leave. I quickly ran to the end of the line. It was really crowded! Because it was the last day of the Dharma Convention, everyone lined up to invite Dharma Gems. I stood on my tiptoes and looked at the endless queue. There were simply too many people! I prayed to Bodhisattva to bless me to get the needed Dharma Gems. At the same time, I recited Buddhist scripture while waiting in line. At first, it took me a long time to move a step, and the line didn’t move much at all. About an hour later, I saw a practitioner who lived with me in the hotel in front of me in the line. If I could get them by 10:00am, I would ask her to wait for me at the north exit, so she could bring the Gems back to my room. After another half hour, the crowd suddenly moved very quickly, and the last two rows could be described as a trot. The Bodhisattva was so compassionate that She allowed me to get all the Dharma Gems I needed! It was 9:55 a.m. I handed the Dharma Gems to my roommate and ran back to the place where I was volunteering. I told the leader that I had all the Dharma Gems I needed, very excitedly! The leader said it was Bodhisattva’s blessing. It took others 4-5 hours to get them, but you got them in 2 hours. Since there were so many people on this last day, what do you think it was if it wasn’t for the Bodhisattva’s blessing? Grateful for the Bodhisattva! Everything was perfectly arranged!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Now I practice Buddhism diligently. Through my experience, I try to transform all sentient beings into Buddhist practitioners. After realizing that everything in the world is an illusion, I will definitely cultivate to transcend illusion and discover our true Buddha nature! Life is short and bitter. I will keep the precepts well, be a faithful disciple of my Master, follow my Master to cultivate my mind and behavior well, and awaken myself properly. I am determined not to do anything my Master does not allow me to do. I will follow my Master’s instructions and be worthy of the spiritual life my Master has saved! I will devote myself to one Buddhist practice and never quit.
