I have practiced Buddhism for 6-7 years. On May 10, 2019, I became Master Lu’s disciple in Singapore. Initially, I was skeptical, but now I have become steadfast. Master Lu’s Dharma teachings are true, and karmic retribution is inevitable. In the Age of Dharma Decline, natural and man-made disasters come one after another. In this impermanent world, we never know which will come first, disaster or tomorrow. The only way out is to practice Buddhism diligently. I am grateful to the Greatly Merciful and Greatly Compassionate Guan Yin Bodhisattva for her compassionate blessings in stabilizing my condition and curing my brain tumor. This was something even authoritative doctors could not fix! It gave me full confidence and firm faith to learn Buddhism!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In January 2018, I was in Hainan Province, China. One day, my left hand suddenly became numb, and the massage didn’t work! On April 18th, I returned to Shanghai and went to a hospital for an MRI of my head. The test result was that my brain was problematic. To verify the accuracy of the test, the doctor suggested I do another strengthening MRI. The result was a benign brain tumor the size of a fava bean, which had to be immediately hospitalized and operated on. I was scared to cry. My son and husband comforted me, saying: it’s okay, Shanghai hospital is so advanced, what disease can’t be cured? But I was still afraid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My son took me to the most authoritative hospital to register with an expert doctor. The doctor said that my brain tumor was small, and had not reached the size of surgery. The doctor gave me an analogy, saying that it was not cost-effective to tear down the whole house when only one corner was broken. The doctor recommended a tumor hospital for radiation therapy. I travelled to the oncology hospital and registered with another expert doctor. This doctor said no. If I had radiation therapy my left eye would not be saved. Then, another doctor suggested I do Gamma Knife therapy, and the other specialist said that Gamma Knife is similar to radiotherapy and can’t be done either. In short, the experts’ opinions could not be harmonized, and none of the options was the most suitable for me. In the end, it is untreatable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There were so many big hospitals in Shanghai, but none could cure my disease! I was so frustrated that I returned home and knelt in front of the Buddhist altar (note: not the Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door Buddhist altar) and prayed to Guan Yin Bodhisattva to rescue me that night! At this point, I knew that only the Dharma, only Guan Yin Bodhisattva and Master could save me! I decided not to go to the hospital anymore. I felt that the Bodhisattva had compassionately enlightened me to use the “Three Great Dharma Gems” taught by our Master to save myself. It was as if I had suddenly come to my senses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The brain tumor is really my counter-karma! In the past, I ate meat every day. At those time, I was really ignorant, only knowing how to care for my mouth for a momentary pleasure, but not caring for how many lives were harmed! How could I not get sick when the resentment of so many sentient beings had accumulated in my body? I deeply repented and made a vow to become a vegetarian!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On April 1 of the lunar calendar, I made 4 vows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1. Be a vegetarian for the rest of my life, repay 508 Little Houses to my karmic creditors, and release 8,000 fish. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
2. Transform 10 sentient beings before the end of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3. Use 30% of my merits and virtues of transforming sentient beings to let this brain tumor disappear or shrink without surgery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4. Convince sentient beings to practice Buddhism using my experiences if I recover. Help more sentient beings understand the truth of Master Lu\u2019s teachings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After making the vows, my mind is much lighter. I started releasing lives and reciting Buddhist scriptures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I returned back to my hometown in the north in June. My brother helped me find a trustworthy doctor to do another brain CT. The doctor said there was nothing wrong, and told me not to worry. This is the blessing I received from the Guan Yin Bodhisattva. At that time, I made a vow in my heart I must practice Buddhism well, reciting Buddhist scriptures to pay off the karmic debt. I will attain enlightenment in one lifetime by following Guan Yin Bodhisattva and Master Lu. I will repay the kindness of the Buddha, and transcend the cycle of rebirth for good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On June 23rd, I returned from my hometown to my Shanghai home. On the 27th, my fellow Buddhist practitioners came to my home to help me set up a Buddha altar of the Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door. Gratitude to their help. We are not relatives but better than relatives. A fellow Buddhist practitioner told me that one practitioner had a brain tumor bigger than mine. However, it disappeared miraculously using our Three Great Dharma Gems. Since then, I have felt more confident. Every day, I recite the Little Houses for my creditors very diligently, 21 a set at a time. In October I finished the recitation of 508 Little Houses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On November 1, my fellow Buddhist practitioner told me I still had to make big vows. At 8 o’clock that night I knelt down in front of the Buddhist altar again and made a vow to Guan Yin Bodhisattva: in the next year and a half, I would repay 1,000 Little Houses to my creditors, release 2,000 fish, and transform 5 sentient beings before the end of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
September 2019 saw my vows completed. With Bodhisattva’s blessing, it was completed in <1 year. Once again, I am grateful to Guan Yin Bodhisattva, my Master, and to my fellow Buddhist practitioners who helped me. Without their help, I would not be where I am today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At the end of May 2020, I returned to Shanghai from Hainan Province. I made a vow to help my creditors with 108 Little Houses, release 108 fish, and recite Eighty-Eight Buddhas Great Repentance<\/em> 108 times. As I offered incense every day, I prayed to Guan Yin Bodhisattva for a good result in this examination. I have vow power, and the Buddha has an answer. On July 10th, I went to the hospital for a checkup. The doctor said that there was no brain tumor, just a bit of thickening and that it did not matter. I was so happy! In fact, I already know my brain tumor will definitely disappear because my Master\u2019s teachings are true. Deepest gratitude to Guan Yin Bodhisattva! Deepest gratitude to my Master! 6\u670823\u65e5\uff0c\u6211\u4ece\u8001\u5bb6\u56de\u5230\u4e86\u4e0a\u6d77\u7684\u5bb6\u300227\u65e5\u5e08\u5144\u5c31\u6765\u6211\u5bb6\u5e2e\u6211\u8bbe\u4e86\u5e08\u7236\u7684\u4f5b\u53f0\u3002\u5728\u6b64\u611f\u6069\u5e2e\u52a9\u6211\u7684\u5e08\u5144\u4eec\uff0c\u4e0d\u662f\u4eb2\u4eba\u80dc\u4f3c\u4eb2\u4eba\u3002\u5e08\u5144\u544a\u8bc9\u6211\uff0c\u6709\u4e2a\u5e08\u5144\u8111\u7624\u6bd4\u6211\u7684\u8fd8\u5927\uff0c\u7528\u6211\u4eec\u7684\u201c\u4e09\u5927\u6cd5\u5b9d\u201d\u90fd\u795e\u5947\u5730\u6d88\u5931\u4e86\u3002\u542c\u4e86\u5e08\u5144\u7684\u8bdd\u6211\u66f4\u52a0\u4fe1\u5fc3\u767e\u500d\uff0c\u4ece\u6b64\u6211\u5c31\u6bcf\u5929\u62fc\u547d\u5730\u5ff5\u7ecf\u6587\u7ec4\u5408\uff0c21\u5f20\u4e00\u62e8\u7ed9\u6211\u7684\u8981\u7ecf\u8005\uff0c\u572810\u6708\u4efd\u6211\u5c31\u628a\u7b2c\u4e00\u62e8508\u5f20\u5ff5\u5b8c\u4e86\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n
