Hello everyone! I am Buddhist practitioner Wang. Today, with immense gratitude, I share with you my Buddhist experience. The topic is: My stubborn neurodermatitis healed via Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Before practicing Buddhism, I suffered from a skin condition on my neck that was extremely itchy and uncomfortable when it flared up. The doctor diagnosed it as neurodermatitis. Over the two-plus years of suffering from this condition, I tried many medications such as Pi Yan Ping and Desonide, but none were effective. I had no idea why I had developed this condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Although I had believed in Buddhism for many years, I had never recited any Buddhist scriptures. Later, I came across the Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door. After understanding the law of cause and effect, I realized that my condition was due to the karma from eating sea animals [Note 1]. I used to be a heavy sea animal lover. Salmon would frequently appear on my dining table. Live crabs were steamed directly in the pot. I would buy live shrimp and boil them. Moreover, I prepared countless dishes with live shrimp that had been frozen. I generated a significant amount of karma, which I was completely unaware of at the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Twenty days after I started reciting Buddhist scriptures, I vowed to adopt a vegetarian diet, no longer form karmic conflicts with animals, and repent for my sins! Specifically for my skin condition, I vowed to recite the Amitabha Pure Land Rebirth Mantra<\/em> 10,000 times, which meant reciting it 108 times daily, and persistently burn Little Houses for my karmic creditors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On the third day after making these vows, my skin stopped itching. Previously, the itching would flare up several times during the day or night, sometimes so severely that I would scratch my skin until it bled, yet the itch persisted. Now, it suddenly stopped. I was amazed at how miraculous making vows and reciting Buddhist scriptures could be!<\/p>\n\n\n\n After reciting the Amitabha Pure Land Rebirth Mantra<\/em> for just over a month, my skin condition has completely healed! I have now been reciting Buddhist scriptures for over two months. The lesions on my neck that looked like lichen have disappeared! Moreover, even the red patches around my neck are gone!<\/p>\n\n\n\n I urge everyone, if you cannot adopt a vegetarian diet, at least avoid killing and eating live sentient beings.
