Master Lu: Hello!
Female Listener: I’ve been practicing Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door for 4 months. I was born in 1961, the Year of the Ox, and I have nasopharyngeal cancer.
Master Lu: Yes, it’s on the left side.
Female Listener: Yes, yes, exactly, it’s amazing, yes, it’s on the left side.
Master Lu: I can see it clearly, and you have already undergone some treatments.
Female Listener: Yes, I’ve had radiation and chemotherapy. But recently, the doctor in a hospital in Wuxi, China, said it wasn’t cured, while the professor in Guangzhou said it was cured. I’m very confused now. Is it cured or not?
Master Lu: You can still go to Shanghai, Beijing, or even abroad for more opinions, go one by one…(Note: Master Lu is enlightening her)
Female Listener: Ah?
Master Lu: Without wisdom, there’s no way. You should learn from your fellow practitioners.
Female Listener: Okay. I’ve only been practicing Buddhism for 4 months, so I’m still not very clear about some things.
Master Lu: You should read my Buddhism in Plain Terms carefully.
Female Listener: I’m reading it. I read a chapter today.
Master Lu: Remember, with spiritual illnesses, one area heals, and another appears. It can’t be completely cured.
Female Listener: Do you mean that it’s not cured and is still growing?
Master Lu: Spiritual illnesses can’t be cured. Do you understand that you have aborted children? (Note: we cannot determine whether it is one child or more through this conversation, so we use plurals to refer the issue.)
Female Listener: Yes, yes, I do.
Master Lu: The spirits (aborted children’s souls) are on you, and no treatment will work. You need to recite Buddhist scriptures to ascend the spirits. You’re not reciting enough Little Houses.
Female Listener: I’ve recited over a hundred.
Master Lu: That’s not enough. Also, you have karmic obstacles.

师父答：你要记住了，灵性病这个地方好了，那个地方又出来了，所以好不了的。
女听众：你的意思就是我这里没有好，还在长吗？
师父答：灵性病不会好的。你有打胎的孩子听得懂吗？
女听众：对对对，我有的。
师父答：灵性在你身上，怎么治都治不好。赶紧把灵性念掉，你现在佛教经典组合念得太少。
女听众：我念一百多张了。
师父答：不够。还有，你自己身上有业障。
