I am Huang, a fellow practitioner from Zhejiang Province, China. Before studying Buddhism, I was plagued with various illnesses: severe asthma, heart disease, lumbar spine disease, cervical spondylosis, muscle aches throughout my body, and stiffness in my hands and feet. In May 2018, I formally began practicing Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door under the guidance of Master Jun Hong Lu, a world-renowned Buddhist master. By consistently listening to recordings of Master Lu’s Dharma Conferences and His “Zongshu (Buddhist Q&A of totem reading)” programs, I gradually came to understand that all these ailments were the result of negative karma accumulated in my past and present lives.
In my childhood, ignorant of Buddhist teachings, I committed acts of killing: I would catch frogs, smash them, and feed them to our family’s ducks, and I even boiled ants alive. In my youth, I went fishing. After moving to Ningbo City, I developed a taste for live sea animals, such as shrimp, shellfish, and live crabs. Master Lu once enlightened us that steaming a crab to death equates to the karmic burden of killing 100 fish.
I also had an abortion. I remember developing severe asthma in the winter of the year I had the abortion. The child I aborted had nowhere to go and attached to my body, resulting in my illness. For 20 to 30 years, I often struggled to breathe and relied on steroid inhalers and asthma medication to sustain my life. After understanding the cause, I began to use the ‘Three Great Dharma Gems’—making vows, reciting Buddhist scriptures, and releasing captive animals—to pray to the Bodhisattva to heal my spiritual illness.
Every day, besides completing my daily recitation of Buddhist scriptures, I recited Little Houses. In June 2019, I vowed to be a lifelong vegetarian, not to kill, and to gradually release 10,000 fish. After reciting more than 60 Little Houses for the aborted child, my asthma unknowingly healed. I realized that the aborted child had been ascended.
Over the past five years, I have recited nearly 800 Little Houses for my karmic creditors and over 100 Little Houses for deceased souls. My heart disease, lumbar spine disease, cervical spondylosis, muscle aches throughout my body, and stiffness in my hands and feet have all been cured. I am deeply grateful to the Greatly Merciful and Greatly Compassionate Guan Yin Bodhisattva for mercifully saving me.
After studying Buddhism, I learned that there are two types of illnesses: physical and spiritual. Doctors can treat physical illnesses, but spiritual illnesses can only be cured through reciting Buddhist scriptures and with the help of Bodhisattvas to ascend them.
Our journey in the human realm is temporary. Only by studying Buddhism and reciting scriptures can we escape the six realms of reincarnation (heavenly beings, asuras, humans, beasts, hungry ghosts, and hell beings). Ultimately, becoming a Buddha or Bodhisattva leads to eternal life. Therefore, we must diligently cultivate our minds and behavior.
I hope that those still lingering outside the Buddhist path will soon begin studying Buddhism and reciting scriptures to leave suffering behind and find happiness. I will follow in the footsteps of my benevolent father, Master Jun Hong Lu, and the Greatly Merciful and Greatly Compassionate Guan Yin Bodhisattva, diligently practicing the Guan Yin Citta Dharma Door with unwavering dedication and respect for my master and the teachings. I will embody Master Lu’s motto, ‘With no desires, the heart is naturally like water,’ and tread carefully in my practices, cultivating my mind and behavior, so that one day I may return to the side of Bodhisattva and my master.

“When we are born into this world, ignorance always follows us, causing us to make many mistakes because we do not understand the truth of the world. This is why we suffer; we understand nothing and are unwilling to ask others [Buddhism in Plain Terms, Episode 112, title: Methods to Remove Ignorance].” If she had known that killing and abortion would cause asthma, she wouldn’t have done it. 我是来自宁波的黄同修，我没有学佛念经以前全身都是病，有心脏病、腰椎病、颈椎病、严重的哮喘、全身肌肉酸痛、手脚肌肉僵硬。我是2018年5月正式开始跟随世界佛教大师卢军宏台长开始学习观世音菩萨的心灵法门。坚持听台长的法会节目录音或玄艺问答节目，渐渐地我明白了，这一切的病都是因为自己前世、今生种下了恶因。我从小不懂佛法，就有了杀业，钓很多青蛙回来摔死后给家里的鸭子吃，还烫死过蚂蚁，青年时钓过鱼，到宁波后喜欢吃活海鲜，比如虾、贝类、活螃蟹。听师父说蒸死一只螃蟹相当于杀死100条鱼的业障。我还堕过胎，记得堕胎那一年的冬天就得了严重的哮喘，那是堕胎的孩子没地方去在我的身上导致的疾病，二三十年来经常会喘得透不过气来，都是靠激素的气雾剂、哮喘药维持着我的生命。我明白原因后就开始用“三大法宝”——许愿、念经、放生，求菩萨医治我的灵性病。每天除了完成基本功课以外，就开始念小房子。2019年6月我许愿了终生吃全素，不杀生，放生1万条鱼，慢慢地放。念了60多张小房子给打胎的孩子，不知不觉我的哮喘就好了，我知道是打胎的孩子被超度走了。5年来念诵了将近800张小房子给自己的要经者，给亡人念了100多张小房子。心脏病、腰椎病、颈椎病、全身肌肉酸痛、手脚肌肉僵硬都得以痊愈。感恩大慈大悲观世音菩萨慈悲救度我。
学佛法后知道因为人体有肉体病和灵性病两种。肉体病医生能治，灵性病只有念经，菩萨帮忙超度走才能好。我们来人间是一个旅程。只有学佛念经，才能脱离六道（天道、阿修罗道、人道、地狱道、饿鬼道、畜生道）轮回，将来成为佛或菩萨才能永生。所以要抓紧修心，修行。
去年我同事的爸爸危在旦夕，我帮他爸助念了21张经文组合小房子烧下去，其余的小房子请向他本人要，叫我同事也为他爸爸每天助念大悲咒，观世音菩萨大慈大悲帮忙他超度身上的要经者，终于从危重病房当中抢救过来了。
今年5月3日我的大哥吐血不止，送到医院抢救的路上，我妹妹打电话给我，让我求观世音菩萨救救他。我立即上心香许愿一年内帮他助念49张经文组合小房子，其余的经文组合小房子请向他本人要。他家里人会帮他放生1000条鱼。在抢救的过程当中，我一直帮他助念大悲咒一个小时。一个小时以后我打电话给妹妹，大哥的血终于止住了。我知道这是大慈大悲观世音菩萨救了他。我的大哥一天一天好起来，我一边给自己念经文组合小房子，一边给他的要经者念。住院10天不到就出院了。小房子是灵验无比。
5年来发生在我身上，求菩萨灵验的事情不计其数，我再来分享几件事。女儿在加拿大多伦多大学学习，我想只有帮助她念经求观世音菩萨才能帮到她，于是我除了完成自己基本功课以外，帮她每天助念3遍心经、21遍准提神咒。心经是观世音菩萨的经文，是开智慧，去烦恼的；准提神咒是求事业或者学习，或者某件事特别的灵验。念之前我就求大慈大悲观世音菩萨保佑我女儿某某某学习才思敏捷，成绩名列前茅，笑口常开，女儿的业障由她自己来背。4年来她的学习成绩一直名列前茅，而且都拿到了奖学金。
还有我的丈夫刚退休，没事情干想着就练书法。帮他每天助念3遍心经、21遍准提神咒。念准提神咒的时候，祈求菩萨保佑我丈夫某某某认真练习书法，早日成为书法家，各人业障各人背。他勤学苦练，一年内练了行草，多次在全国上获得金奖、银奖，成了书法家的一员。
女儿大四那年，有8万元学费要退回来，按照正常流程，大约要一个月才能退到她的账户。在正月初一上头香的时候我帮她祈求大慈大悲观世音菩萨让学校把这8万元学费早日打入她的账户，结果一个星期不到就打入她的账户，正好派上用场。
一家人相聚在一起都会有很多冤结，我经常念解结咒，求菩萨帮忙化解和丈夫某某某的恶缘、保留善缘，化解和女儿某某某的恶缘、保留善缘。结果发现夫妻更加和睦，和女儿的关系更加融洽。因为帮他们助念了心经，所以两年后丈夫和女儿都开始学佛念经了。
大悲咒是由八十四尊菩萨名号组成，一念大悲咒就相当于跟八十四尊菩萨接上气场。自己有一些小病小痛的一求就灵。有一次我肚子痛得很厉害，就念大悲咒，大约念了5～6遍就睡着了，这都是菩萨在加持。每天睡前我念1~2遍大悲咒，我就睡着了。
又有一次女儿智齿疼，她吵着要去拔智齿。我想拔智齿的话总不太好，拔后会比较痛，我就帮她多念了一些大悲咒，给她的要经者烧了3张小房子，结果她的牙齿就不疼了，也没有去拔。
今年8月10日女儿接到了英国伦敦大学金史密斯学院剪辑专业的面试通知，这是女儿梦寐以求想上的学校。8月12日，我在上心香的时候就向大慈大悲观世音菩萨许愿帮女儿放生200条鱼，月底之前念8张经文组合小房子给女儿的要经者，其余的小房子请向女儿本人要。女儿被录取后，会好好学习剪辑本领，将来为社会做出贡献，我会现身说法，救度更多的众生学佛。
教授说让女儿有什么问题尽管问，女儿那天晚上就开始思考问题写邮件，感恩大慈大悲观世音菩萨加持，女儿写邮件写到凌晨3点，给教授发过去。教授又非常认真负责地给女儿解答。三四天后教授回复女儿被录取了。紧接着女儿要请多伦多大学开4年语言学习证明，经过女儿四五天的努力沟通，这个证明开成功了。接下来要把去伯尔尼茅斯的签证给取消，三四天过去了还没解决，于是女儿很着急。感恩大慈大悲观世音菩萨保佑，让女儿找到了中介帮她打电话沟通，终于这边签证取消了。接着要等待金史密斯学院的正式cas才能去办签证，又过了好多天还没下来。9月8日那天是龙树菩萨的圣诞，我让女儿许愿读《白话佛法》，结果她许愿读600篇《白话佛法》。当天史密斯学院的cas就发到了女儿的邮箱。接下来办签证不到一个星期就办下来了。后续买机票、租房子都比较顺利。女儿终于去英国伦敦大学金史密斯学院读研究生了。剪辑专业排名是英国前三的。这一个半月当中我都帮女儿助念准提神咒300多遍，她自己念200多遍。
希望还在佛门外徘徊的人早日学佛念经离苦得乐。我会跟随恩师慈父卢军宏台长的脚步，跟随大慈大悲观世音菩萨修学心灵法门，一门精进永不退转，尊师重道。学习台长座右铭“无欲自然心如水”，如履薄冰，好好修心修行，将来回到菩萨妈妈和师父的身边。
